The collection “37”, starting with La Jolla in San Diego, California, is inspired by the idea of exploring neighborhoods and cities through the lens of the art and numbers that are an essential part of them. The project then expanded into a collection of stories told not only with photographs and statistics, but also with the random stops we made on our journey through the place and the various encounters we had with some of its most emblematic residents. Our goal is to discover a few secrets about these places through the people who live, work, or made their names in them. Photographs, texts and numbers will guide us in their streets.
